Contemporary Powder Room
This master bath remodel maintained the traditional style of the colonial home while adding timeless sophistication. Introducing marble created the lux and classic feel the client was looking for. Upon entering through the double doors, your eyes are captured by the soft lines of the freestanding tub and picture frame of patterned marble. The subtle warm veining of the Calacutta marble brought a subtlety into the space. The neutral beige/gray base color is accented by the the green/gray vanity. The fixtures, mirrors and lighting became the jewelry of the space and the chrome finishes brought beautiful reflection of the sunlight filtered in by skylight.
Candle Fusion, Central West End
Principal Diane Fogerty was called upon by start-up Candle Fusion to provide design vision and spatial planning for their CWE store. Diane created a warm environment by combining modern elements with a nod to the historic location and architectural detail. The original tin ceiling was painted navy highlighted by the pale walls. A custom sleek counter in stainless steel is highlighted by task lighting. By considering form and function, the flow of candle making is supported by the spatial design of the store.
