Modern + Timeless Chef’s Kitchen
Designed for an amateur chef who loves to entertain, this fabulous, functional and family-friendly kitchen has everything necessary to whip up culinary delights. Melding a modern, minimalist mindset with timeless, organic elements, this space feels both “of the moment” and classic. Open shelving offers easy access to frequently used items and allows for a series of windows to let in natural light. A Cambria quartz waterfall island is a standout, with large matte black subway tiles for the backsplash. Black slab cabinets with stainless steel pulls complement the appliances, while reclaimed wood flooring and counter stools add a rustic touch.
Handcrafted by Bissinger’s
When Bissinger’s decided to reimagine their Central West End chocolate shop, they called on Savvy to provide the design evolution, which now includes a lounge area with midcentury-inspired furniture pieces dressed in classic blues and whites and a fabulous wine wall. The casual, European café features several seating areas with some low and some high tables made of reclaimed wood. Tables for two have their own personal wall fireplaces. The tour de force in this space is an innovative art installation. 600 gold “barnacles” were individually attached to a focal point wall creating a one of a kind abstract art piece.
