Eclectic Home Office
An eclectic home office makes innovative use of a cozy corner space in the client’s home. Sherwin Williams “Cyberspace,” wraps this room in warmth and serves as a rich backdrop for a beautiful mix of wood tones. A disparate blend of furnishings and accessories, including a rustic armoire, which houses a wine fridge and racks, a handsome mid-century desk, a child’s piano, and striking photographic art add interest to this home office. Underfoot, a classic cowhide rug grounds the space with a rustic touch. A striking spiral staircase is the perfect finishing touch.
Handcrafted by Bissinger’s
When Bissinger’s decided to reimagine their Central West End chocolate shop, they called on Savvy to provide the design evolution, which now includes a lounge area with midcentury-inspired furniture pieces dressed in classic blues and whites and a fabulous wine wall. The casual, European café features several seating areas with some low and some high tables made of reclaimed wood. Tables for two have their own personal wall fireplaces. The tour de force in this space is an innovative art installation. 600 gold “barnacles” were individually attached to a focal point wall creating a one of a kind abstract art piece.
